We are currently looking for motivated PhD students with interests in machine learning, data analytics, and optimization. Our research is multi-disciplinary and prospective students may have background in applied mathematics, industrial and systems engineering, electrical and computer engineering, computer science, or statistics. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISEN) in Texas A&M University College of Engineering was established in 1939. The College of Engineering has been consistently ranked in the top 15 departments in the United States over the past 10 years by the U.S. News. The ISEN undergraduate and graduate programs are ranked 8th and 10th, among public institutions in the US, respectively. Focusing on four major research areas, the department has strong programs on Data Science, Operations Research, Advanced Manufacturing, and Health and Human Systems Engineering.
